Good morning! Thank you for this. I am still trying to figure out this platform. And I’m excited I just broke the 25 subscriber milestone on Easter! 🐣 Now I’m looking to see how I can do this more consistently with the notes. Is there a way to determine which are the best times for your readers or do you just assume the times? And I am assuming you manually post these and I have not missed a way for them to pop up at certain times, right?
Seems like it’s easier to get subscribers when engaging them to learn more about Substack because every one on Substack wants to get more subscribers. I have to come up with ways to translate those examples into comparable books for my niche. Doesn’t seem as easy/conducive
I need clarification -- SO MANY notes are just asking readers to drop their Substack. One of yours was like that too. How can that make a reader want to subscribe. What am I missing?
This is good stuff. I have been using this strategy and have been seeing a slow uptick. I didn't know that notes stick around for a bit. I'm interested to see what happens.
I rarely read to the end of anything! (Novels included) … just me and my…impatient brain. Being vulnerable here. I think it’s your consistency and focus that engages me, so a valuable lesson in itself. Thank you!
Excellent piece, thanks! So much of it is to continue moving on a tested plan and wait for results but somehow we all want the results prior to staying on the tested path
I don’t feel like my notes are being seen. Impression rate appears very small.
You’re not alone. His notes get pushed and seen because he writes about “How to Substack” which applies to most everyone on the platform.
Right and my notes are like... hey I just dropped a new English lesson lol

I’m sharing slow and quiet moments from Japan through photos, poetry, and food.

I’d love your thoughts if you enjoy calm reads.
This has added some great value to my shares. Thanks @Wes Pearce

But people live in different time zones
Appreciating your guidance and sharing with others! 🙏
I've also been doing Notes 3x a day - morning (8am) afternoon (1pm), evening (7pm) for the past month or so, and enjoying the consistency
