And I can’t wait to see what you’re cooking up, Wes! But, you have me chuckling… I’m a child of the 60s and 70s so groovy is my language (or was) this is the first time I’ve seen it pop up anywhere in decades. You should probably explain yourself, don’t you think? To the 70s—and beyond!

Hey Wes! I just read your 21 Substack bestsellers piece. It’s such an informative, accessible post, I’m thrilled to have found it. But I’m left wondering how my Substack fits into the business model you’re suggesting.

Your post immediately gave me ideas, and also revealed to me the ways in which my process is similar to the bestsellers.

But I’m lost about how to apply many of the formulas to my content. I’m not an expert in any professional field. My Substack is not a ‘how-to’ and I’m not serializing a novel to tease to my readers.

Does a Substack need to check off all the boxes you listed to be as lucrative?Do the guidelines vary based on the Substack type/category?

Again, great post. It really got me thinking :)
