I love how you consistently over-deliver in your articles. You thoroughly cover the nuts and bolts, providing real value in every post. This contrasts sharply with the "give 'em a taste" trend, and readers will click through to the real meat. I know you also have meaningful items you sell, but it's refreshing not to have every single article created to move the reader toward buying. Thanks for strategizing differently than the majority of creators.
I was going to write a really similar comment Cindy! Totally agree, every time I read an article I'm constantly jotting notes, and copy and pasting examples to test for myself. Now that's real value. 🚀
I know what you mean, Sophie. Wes consistently delivers excellent value, so it's a wonder it's not in every comment! I'm glad you and I mentioned it this time (great minds... and all that). 😏
I'm going to be reading this again and again! I struggle with headlines so this is invaluable thank you. I'll be testing them out for sure. Is it a good idea to rewrite the headlines for post I've already published?
Did anyone else want to click on Wes' example headlines??? 🤔 😅
As a newbie to Substack, I automatically mentally rewrote my first few posts with new headlines. Curious, is it okay to go back and change them after they're published???
This is undoubtedly the best post I’ve ever read about writing headlines. Not only did you provide the examples but also the explanations behind when & why they work. Chef’s kiss! Historically, I hate writing headlines. Now I’m actually excited about writing them!
