Nice post. 2024 was not very kind to me for a number of reasons, but that is forgotten.

However, it seems that a lot of bloggers and so-called "hoodoos" claim to have 10x-ed their business.

But they neglect to say how they did it.

Many of us, me included, aren't ready to 10x anything. We aren't ready to go to a 7-figure business.

Personally, getting back and restarting my Business Consulting practice, I want to get to $5k in the next 60 days. Then $10k and then $20k. I want to stay below the IRS $400 k threshold for tax purposes.

So all this talk of 10x and 7-figure incomes is great. I might peruse it, but it really isn't that useful for me.

Once I get it figured out, that will be my next blog/newsletter.

The way you turned LinkedIn and Substack into a flywheel is gold. Excited to learn more!

Thanks for this honest authentic post, Wes! I'm working my way through your workshop now. And starting to brainstorm what my hero posts will be. Really appreciate you also sharing the failures as well as the winds. Makes me feel slightly better about myself 😅😅 happy holidays!!

Looking forward to your post on the LinkedIn/Substack flywheel pattern. Those are my two preferred online platforms, but I've yet to figure out how to sync them for my target audience.

This year, I successfully ran two impactful programs. One was for a local non-profit that paid me well and is now looking to contract with me for a longer commitment next year. The other was an online program that received glowing reviews from attendees. Both programs took place within the last six months. My goal is to build on this momentum by running workshops during the first half of next year as well.
