I have only about 25 LinkedIn connections. Is it still worth my time?

Jeremy yes, still worth the time I think. Spend some time daily inviting new people to connect. There should be a long list of recommendations.

I wouldn’t start your LinkedIn newsletter until you have about 1000+ connections; but that can grow quickly.

Then start posting a sharable piece of content risky (video or quote) and your followers will grow quickly.

"Consistency matters, but perfection doesn't." This line truly resonated with me. I tend to get frustrated with myself when I fail to stick to my plans and be consistent. It's nice to hear that you don't have to get it perfect all the time—missing a day or two isn't the end of the world. Thank you so much for this!

Perfection is impossible. Aim for that 80% consistency. 🙏

Thank you for sharing this. I have noticed through notes that I gain 1-2 subscribers daily, so I am going to try investing a little more time on here, because right now I am splitting my time between here and X.

But the results I'm getting here are very encouraging, and I like the energy and pace here better than X, which feels a little desperate.

I have posts for once a week scheduled for the next three weeks, I'm thinking of spacing them out every two weeks and do more notes and engage with others instead.

How often you post your regular posts?

I write about leadership and I have 500+ connections on LinkedIn, but I have been hesitant to start cross posting on LinkedIn for the risk of sounding cringe. I mean: LinkedIn has my boss, VP and pretty much all my professional connections. So far I have used LinkedIn to post about professional updates related to my day job. On Medium (where I’ve grown to 6K+ followers) and Substack (where I’m seeing good growth, now at 400+ subscribers), I feel more comfortable sharing general leadership above and insights as the audience seems to be more open and welcoming. What are your thoughts on this?
