Thanks, good advice. Interesting to compare Substack to something like LinkedIn where they had their equivalent of Notes before longer-form posts. LinkedIn seems to just be a stream of easy but almost value-less posts of people at events. Very little, primary knowledge shared in comparison to Substack which is coming from the other direction. As always, and as you say it's about balance.

This is the part I had to learn too. Longer posts build trust once people find you. Notes are often how they find you in the first place.
