Hey Substacker,
Here's a little note about how my week is going.
I’ve been binge watching “The Traitors” because it’s become my new favorite show. My favorite meal so far has been homemade ramen with extra mushrooms. And the funniest thing I saw on the internet was a cat absolutely refusing to acknowledge its owner's existence during a video call.
I bet if I asked you to comment below and tell me what you watched, ate, and laughed about this week it would be totally different than my list.
That's because the 3 things above have been my opinions...
So, here's another one. (And it might be a little unpopular when it comes to people who love Substack like I know you do.)
Even though everyone says, "just write great content and subscribers will come," I believe that's the fastest path to burnout and disappointment on Substack.
Here's why:
// People think organic discovery on Substack is enough, but what's actually happening is successful writers are deliberately engineering their growth through multiple channels like LinkedIn, Notes, and strategic collaborations
// My previous experience growing newsletters has shown me that relying solely on platform algorithms is like building your house on sand - you need diversified traffic sources
// The most successful Substacks I've analyzed all have one thing in common: they treat growth as a system, not a hope-and-pray strategy
// The writers earning real money aren't just better writers - they're better at creating sustainable growth engines outside of Substack
HERE'S THE TRUTH: If you want sustainable Substack growth, you need to spend as much time strategizing your distribution as you do writing. That means picking ONE primary growth channel (LinkedIn, Notes, Facebook Groups) and mastering it before adding others.
So Substacker...

What’s Coming Next?
If you’ve been following me for very long, you know I’m always thinking of the next thing I can create to help you grow & monetize your audience online.
Would a Low-Ticket Digital Product Bootcamp be helpful for you? We’d work together as a small group to actually create your next digital product, set it up online, and introduce it to your audience. To be clear, this is for any audience like LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
If this is something you’d be interested in, just drop “Bootcamp” in the comments so I can gauge interest.
📌 Six-Figure Substack Growth Masterclass (Re-Opened)
I’ve re-opened doors to my Substack Growth Masterclass for a few more days that helps you grow & monetize your Substack newsletter. This is the class where I show you how I’ve grown from Zero to 4,400+ subscribers and a $5K+ per month operation within 6 months.
Listen, I know Substack can feel a little lonely at first. It’s actually not difficult to grow on Substack once you have a good strategy. Going it solo can be tough.
Jake said about the class: “I wanna say thank you for putting this together, sharing it, and making it accessible. This was one of the best, most concise explanations of how to scale and monetize a newsletter I’ve ever come across. Keep up the good work.”
This class has helped a lot of writers get their bearings on Substack and take first steps. If you’d like to get the support you deserve on your newsletter journey, just click the button below and join:

I’m writing about herbal medicine so I’m wondering if LinkedIn would work for me? I’m thinking Facebook might work better and it’s a platform I’m super comfortable with. Could I use your strategies there?
What I’m watching? Facebook videos about autism, Rockstar (a truly talented voiceover artist who does hilarious pet videos) and Michael McIntyre comedy videos!
